‘I Believe’ is an experimental documentary work about ordinary people who choose to be extraordinary. We’re traveling the globe to ask activists, social disruptors, and humanitarians one question: what do you believe? By sharing their stories of what motivated them and what motivates them to keep going, we hope to demystify the notion that an individual needs some kind of superhuman power to be great. Every single change-maker is just an ordinary person that made a choice to do something ‘extraordinary’; to face adversity and make a conscious choice to take action and make a difference. Any action begins with the belief that it can be done.

Everybody can be great. Because anybody can serve. You don’t have to have a college degree to serve. You don’t have to make your subject and your verb agree to serve…. You don’t have to know the second theory of thermodynamics in physics to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love. – Martin Luther King, Jr.

GOALS:
-To inspire audiences to act in their own lives and communities.
-To show audiences if we take responsibility for our lives, we can achieve very big things
-To be a platform for change in what we generate as filmmakers, journalists and media outlets. We want to bring more positive, responsible stories to the market. Being informed is very important. Being inundated is destructive.
-To bridge a gap globally and promote cross-cultural understanding through the arts.
